REBRANDING TALIS IFA
In summer 2024 we were thrilled to be at the official rebrand launch of one of our loyal and long-standing clients, Talis IFA. James Cole, MD, unveiled the new brand at the Leeds Castle summer concert – of which Talis IFA was a sponsor.

Defining the brand
We began in 2022 with a Brand Foundations programme led by TMA Associate Loris Clements.
Loris combines brand strategy and copywriting expertise and delivered a structured programme of workshops, desk research and creative thinking to define the Talis IFA brand.
Defining your Brand Foundations – mission, vision, values and personality, along with target audience personas and tone of voice – is an important step in your marketing strategy. It gives direction and consistency to your visual brand and marketing communications – helping your target audience to recognise, understand and engage with your brand.
But it also gives you a set of tools to align your team – creating a shared understanding of your goals and helping to build a more positive company culture. Involving and engaging your team in the programme of activity to define your brand is also a very positive step.
For Talis’ growing team of IFAs, who are located around the country, and often manage their own marketing communications, creating a shared understanding of their brand was key.
Creating a content strategy
Our next step was to engage Amana, our social media manager, to boost Talis IFA’s reach across key platforms, and to continue to work with Loris to ensure a monthly programme of high quality, informative content, using the Brand Foundations guidelines and tone of voice to establish Talis IFA as an authority in their industry.
A brand new look
Next, we moved to creating a visual brand and implementing it across all Talis IFA’s communications, from website to banners. Guided by the Brand Foundations, we worked with Bloom Creative and Parkers Design & Print to create a contemporary new visual brand, highlighting Talis IFA’s approach to building long-term relationships, giving their clients more confidence in making financial decisions, and guiding them towards achieving their financial goals.
